Vietnam, officially the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula. With an estimated 94.6 million inhabitants as of 2016, it is the 15th most populous country in the world. Vietnam shares its land borders with China to the north, and Laos and Cambodia to the west.

Vietnam has become a very important destination in Southeast Asia. Vietnam has recently started tourist slogans, known as “Vietnam Timeless Charm”. Vietnam has 31 national parks, many world heritage sites and has 21 national tourist area. Also, city Hanoi has been voted in the world’s top ten destinations. Vietnam is also attracting tourists who are interested in Military tourism. Throughout thousands of years, wars played a great role in shaping the identity and culture of people inhabited the land which is modern-day Vietnam, there are numerous historical sites from Ancient Vietnam to the First Indochina War and the Second Indochina War.
